Homegrown BRICK Commandos (Building Robots Inspires Creative Kids) |

Homegrown BRICK Commandos is a volunteer, parent-led organization for home-schooled children ages 7 to 14. LEGO Simple Machines and Mindstorms kits are used as educational tools to teach teamwork, engineering concepts and principles, and programming skills while building robots for competition. The FLL squad also prepares a scientific research project, which is presented to a panel of judges at the FLL competition. This group serves families in southeast Houston and the surrounding areas.
